Franklin D Johnson, 80, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at his home in Azle. Memorial service: 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown Owens & Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. The Johnson family would like to extend their sincere gratitude for the care and compassion of the staff of Grace Hospice of Fort Worth. Frank was born Aug. 4, 1936, in Tahoka, Texas, to Louis Clark Johnson and Leta Pearl Wadkins Johnson. He grew up in Dalhart. He served in the U.S. Army. Frank has lived in Amarillo and Azle. He was a professional truck driver for most of his life. Survivors: Sons, Gerald Johnson, Buddy Ford and Scott Ford; siblings, Harrell Johnson of Amarillo, Ray Lee
Johnson of Canyon, and Vanita Bevans of Dalhart; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
