Juanita"Aunt Toot's" Howell

Juanita -Aunt Toot's- Howell. 92. of Kimberly. ID. died Wednesday morning September 29. 1999 at the Twin Falls Clinic and Hospital.

She was born December 4, 1906, in Cedar County, Missouri. to Ashel and Nora Duncan Smith. She grew up and attended school in a one room country school in Rock Dale, Missouri. Juanita married William H. Hardesty on October 28, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1938. She later married A B. Cobb, and the couple moved to California for a few years before moving to Salmon, Idaho, in 1944 They later moved to Payette, and then to Caldwell, where Mr. Cobb passed away in 1964. On April 24, 1966. she married John D. Howell. He preceded her in death
on May 3, 1974. Juanita moved to Fruitland, ID, where she resided for nearly 20 years, moving to Kimberly, ID, in 1995. She had been a member of the Hannony Baptist Church in Missouri, the Rebecca Lodge in New Plymouth, and the Royal Neighbors in Fruitland; she enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing cards, and all kinds of flowers, especially roses.

Aunt Toots is survived by her nieces and nephews, Aileen Dalton, Jean (Wayne) Mort, Anna Moore. Lewis -Bud' (Vera) Reed. Ruth Mitchell. Phyllis (Vern) Adams, Leon (Virginia) Reed. all of the Magic Valley, and Rosemary (Norman) Werts and Donna Davis, both of Illinois. Also surviving is. one sister-in-law, Dorothy Smith of Illinois: and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her par- ents, one brother, Elmer Burton Smith, and two sisters. Beulah Pearl Reed and Eula Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. October 4, 1999, at Reynolds Funeral Chapel with Pastor Wes Johnson of the Hansen Assembly of God Church officiating Interment will follow in Twin Falls Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3pm.to 8 pm.at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, Twin Falls.
