Philip Lee Harmon, son of Francis and Alice Harmon, was born on Nov. 21, 1898 in Kansas City, Mo. He was 72 years, five months and 11 days of age at the time of his death on May 2, 1971. He was a veteran of World War I having served 13 months overseas. In 1920 he was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Hughes and to this union five children were born. John Philip, Francis Marion, Harry Eugene, Mary Alice and Philip Junior. In 1935 he was preceded in death by his wife and infant son Philip Junior. In 1936 he was united in marriage to Thelma Brewer. He moved to the Nagle Community in 1940. On May 3, 1945 he joined the Nagle Christian Church. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the Nagle Christian Church with Keith Cunningham officiating. Burial was in Nagle Cemetery under direction of Elliott-Gentry of Cabool.
