Notes for Rome (Spouse 1)
John: I have proved all my Aunts and Uncles (or children for Rome Ryan and Mary Catherine Morrow). Have proved grandfather Rome and Brother Thomas J. Ryan as sons of Thomas B. and Sarah Lane as well as daughter Linda (Lina) Ryan who married William Little. Proved her through the Probate for the children as Lina and William died ten days apart. So think that this proves my link to Thomas B. Ryan son of Abner and Rebecca. 1870 Census Rome Ryan born 1862 in home of Thomas Ryan, Sarah is not in the home. I think she died after the birth of Mary 1867 and before 1870. Also in the home with Thomas are Abner, Lina, Amanda, Thomas, Rome, Sarah E. and Mary. And think I told you that my mother was very close to Thomas J. Ryan's daughter Lina 1st cousins. So I feel certain that you can add the information. I haven't found the death or burial of Thomas B. my g grandfather or the death of Sarah E. Lane.

John: Know that I sent much information, but failed to add that the 1860 census matches that of 1870 except my grandfather Rome was not born until 1862. 1860 census Thomas, Sarah, Abner, Lina, Amanda, Thomas J and Burton Ryan ( this is Thomas B's brother Isaac Burton). Think I have proved my link to Abner--Thomas B.---Rome--Gladys Ryan (mother)---myself. John, thanks again for all your help. Must say that finding these ancestors is addictive…

John:
Sending pictures of my grandfather Rome Ryan and Isaac Burton (Bart) Ryan I think it is important to share the knowledge of family history  & family pictures as sometimes there are very few to pass along

Bart is the one that died in the house fire in Kansas City Kansas along with his dog that tried to save him. I will find the article from the newspaper and send it if you want it
I think that my grandfather and Bart resemble each other. Would love to have one of Abner and Thomas B Ryan.

Also sending photo of William Hutson's stone at Fontana Cemetery. His Civil War Marker is to the right of the stone. He was married to Elizabeth (Effie) Ryan oldest daughter of Abner and Rebecca.
She is suppose to be in a small cemetery over by Garnett Kansas and I went there but did not find her (or there is no stone for her),  So we are third cousins once removed ( is that by marriage). Haven't figured out after third and fourth cousins.
