Mrs. Iva Barnett Dies In Denver Tuesday

Death came to Mrs. Iva Barnett early Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver following several months of ill health. Mrs. Barnett underwent major surgery in Denver last September and since then had spent much of the time in the hospital. Her condition had been critical for the past three weeks.

Mrs. Barnett was a long time resiedent of the Eads community, coming here with her family in 1911. She left in 1942 first making her home in Colorado Springs, later moving to Denver.

She is survived by six children, Joe Barnett of Eads; Mrs. Helen Lennon of Barcelona, Venezula, S.A.; Mrs. Grace Halterman, San Francisco, California; Mrs. Lee Kelly, Sant Cruz, California; Miss Ethel Barnett of Denver and Miss Hazel Barnett of Colorado Springs.
Funeral serivces will be held at Olingers Mortuary at Sherman and Speer Boulevard, Denver, at 11:00 o”clock Friday morning and graveside services and interment will be at the Eads cemetery that afternoon at 4:00 o”clock.635
