Notes for Roberta Marie BLOODING
Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Eads. Inurnment will follow in the Eads Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Weisbrod Nursing Home Auxiliary.

Roberta Marie Belle ws born on November 1, 1920 to Robert and Irene Blooding in Eads, CO and went to be with her loved ones on December 8, 2014. Roberta went to the Eads School until her sophomore year when she left school and married Paul Martin Wissel on February 21, 1938. To this union was born 5 daughters, Madonna, Phyllis, Lois, Doris and Heleen. They lived and farmed in the Prairie Queen area until 1954.

They moved to Denver in 1956 and Roberta worked in a café, bank and a department store. She became very active in her church in Denver where she was active in the rosary making society. While in Denver, she met Sterling O. Tolby and they were married on March 5, 1966. When Sterling retired they moved to Albequerque, New Mexico. While there she was instrumental in starting a rosary making group and they made more than 70,000 rosaries for homeless and sent many to Mexico and missions. They lived there until Sterling passed away on May 12, 1992. Roberta then returned to Denver in 1994 to be closer to her children. She was still active in her church and TOPS which she was in for 40 years.
Roberta moved to Ft. Collins in March of 2008 to a retirement center. Her children then moved her to the Prairie Pines Assisted Living in Eads in September of 2008. She became an Eads Extended Care Facility resident in 2011. In May of 2013 her family gathered to have five generation pictures done of all three of her daughters. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Irene, her husband Sterling Tolby, daughters Doris and Heleen, sister Ella, brother Arthur, grandsons Charles Paul Pollreis and Kyle Davis, step son Charles Tolby and son-in-law Roeland Elliston.

Roberta is survived by her daughters Madonna (Phil) Pollreis of Eads, CO, Phyllis (Floyd) Griswould of Eads, CO and Kearney, AZ, and Lois Elliston of Windsor, CO. She is also survived by her brother Lee (Maxine) Blooding of Ft. Collins, CO, her sister-in-law June Blooding of Eads, CO, 10 grandchildren, 9 gret grandchildren , 10 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
