Fred lived all over the country as his father was transferred in the Air Force. He was one of the first boys at Clark AF, Philippines to play soccer. He played all through school, even coaching Andy's team when there was no team for him to play on when he first moved to Panama City. He learned to play golf at the age of nine at Clark AF. He graduated from Bay HS in Panama City, FL in 1984. He attended Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City where he was the Outstanding Biology Student in 1986 before transferring to Auburn University. He graduated from Auburn in 1989 with a degree in Economics. He has been a Planner for Parisian, in Birmingham and Hibbits Sports. He worked in Planning and Allocation for the Disney Corporation in Orlando, FL. In July, 2004, he accepted a job with Saks, Inc., and moved his family back to Birmingham. He now is employed by Marvin’s in Birmingham. They now reside in Vestavia Hills, a suburb of Birmingham.
