Gregory "Gregg" Wayne Moore, 53, residing with his mother, Ms. Betty Walker for the past four years in Brunswick County, NC, passed away Tuesday morning, September 8, 2009 at Brunswick Community Hospital in Supply, NC. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, September 10, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Moore was born November 13, 1955 in Leaksville (now Eden), North Carolina, son of Betty Gatewood Moore Walker, and the late Homer G. Moore. He was a graduate of Morehead High School in Eden and was the owner and operator of Greg Moore Pro Painting Contractors in Pleasant Garden, NC. Surviving are his wife, Darlene Streater Moore of Raleigh; son, Gregory Wayne Moore, II, and wife, Shawna of Greensboro; granddaughter, Clara Leanne Moore of the home; mother, Betty Walker of the home; brother, Larry Glenn Moore and wife, Deborah of Reidsville; five great nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Arnold "Butch" Walker, Jr.
