Mrs. Phyllis Grubbs Quesinberry, 71, of Stoneville passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.
Phyllis was born in Rockingham County on November 20, 1947, a daughter of Richard Lee Grubbs and Frances Jones O'Dell, both deceased. She was retired from Unifi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her adopted father, William R. Jones, Jr. and her brother, Richard W. "PeeWee" Grubbs.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Quesinberry of the home; her daughter, Ramona Trantham and husband Mike of Eden; her step children, Jeff Quesinberry and wife Jenny of Eden and Dawn Campbell and husband Joe of South Boston; her brothers, Bobby Grubbs and wife Cheryl of Madison and Jim Grubbs of Eden; her grandchildren, Taylor Trantham and wife, Brittany, Tanner Trantham; her step grandchildren, Cecil and Justin Quesinberry, Dustin Hilton and Joshua Hilton and wife Caitlin.
