Mary Lucinda "Polly" Stone married Joseph Nunn (1780-1860) on 19 Oct. 1798. Joseph was the son of Thomas Nunn, Sr. (b.Abt. 1748-1751 d. abt. 1815) Revolutionary War soldier from Henry County, Va.

Mary Lucinda "Polly" Stone was the daughter of Stephen Stone (b. abt. 1780, Henry County, VA., d. abt. 1835, Henry County.) and Bathsheba Hurt (b. abt. 1765 in Bedford County, Va., abt. 15 May 1852).
