Georgia Dell Hurt Clark, 74, passed away on March 13, 2010, after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Dell and George Robert Levitt; and brother, Charles Levitt of Bastian, Va. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Boliver "Bob" Hurt and Gaines Clark.

She is survived by her brother, Roy Levitt of Bastian. A devout Christian, she was a member of Bethel View Baptist Church in Bristol, Tennessee. Georgia was a special friend to many, but above all a devoted mother to her four children, Anita "Kay" Hurt of Glade Spring, Va., James Michael Hurt of Blountville, Tenn., Debra Lynn Kotler-Langley of Fresno, Calif., and Edward Lee Hurt of Bristol, Tennessee. She was also a loving and caring "momaw" and "grandma" to Jim's children, Jamie, Kelly, and Robbie, and to Debbie's children, Katie and Matt Kotler. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:45 Tuesday evening, March 16, 2010, at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 8 o'clock with Rev. Eric Godfrey officiating. The committal service and entombment will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Forest Hills Mausoleum in Abingdon, Va. In lieu of plants and flowers, donations may be sent to a charity of ones choice. The family deeply appreciates all the thoughts and prayers during this time.
