he funeral of R. M. Clark, 325 East Jefferson Street, Oak Cliff, was held at 10 o'clock, yesterday forenoon from St. Mark's Methodist Church, Rev. E. L. Egger, assisted by Rev. E. R. Barcus, conducting the service.
he active pallbearers were J. G. Wilson, W. C. McCutcheon, Ben Savage, T. A. Sanders, W. F. Bane, and C. C. Westerfeldt. The honorary pallbearers were W. M. Crow, Dr. R. B. Spurgin, H. E. Rawlins, M. M. Miller, James A. Boyd, C. H. Head, Judge R. B. Seay, Judge Barry Miller, and Judge W. L. Crawford.
The burial was in Oak Cliff Cemetery. [Note: grave was later removed to Laurel Land Cemetery.]
The Dallas Bar Association met in the Sixty-Eighth District Court room at 9:30 o'clock yesterday forenoon and appointed the following committee to draft resolutions on the death of Mr. Clark: W. H. Clark, Wendel Spence, W. L. Mathis, D. Upthegrove, R. B. Seay, W. C. McCutcheon, H. C. Jarrel, and John W. George. The committee will report to a meeting of the association to be held in the same place at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning.

R. M. CLARK is dead. He was a good and true man in life and until his health failed him, which affected his mind, he was one of the bright legal lights of the Dallas bar. His death is regretted by all of his friends, yet it were better that he be at rest than tormented with a mental strain. He made Dallas County a splendid prosecuting attorney. Of course he made mistakes and the public, perhaps passed judgment on him for some of his official acts, but where is the man that has not his enemies as well as his friends? If any, they are few and far between. Now that he is dead, let's remember him kindly. "Peace to his ashes."

Mrs. R. M. Clark, 91, a resident of Oak Cliff for more than sixty years, died Sunday at her home at 119 North Edgefield.
The Rev. Homer Vanderpool will conduct funeral services at 2:30 p. m. Monday at Lamar & Smith Chapel, 800 West Jefferson. Burial will be in Oak Cliff Cemetery. (Note: grave was later removed from Oak Cliff Cemetery to Laurel Land Cemetery.]
Mrs. Clark had lived in Dallas County all her life. She was born July 21, 1858 at Prairie Valley, a comunity no longer in existence. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. White.
She spent her girlhood in Lancaster, where she was married to the late R. M. Clark, an attorney. They lived first in Waxahachie and then moved to Oak Cliff when it was just becoming known as a Dallas suburb.
Mrs. Clark joined the Methodist Church in her childhood, and was an active member of Tyler Street Church until her health began to fail several years ago.
Survivors are one son, Estill Clark, and two daughters, Miss Myrtle Clark, and Miss Marian Clark, all of Dallas; a brother, Lester White Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Mrs. W. L. Ferguson and Mrs. H. E. Rawlins, both of Lancaster; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be six nephews and grandsons: F. M. Rawlins and Raymond Head, both of Lancaster; Donald Rowland, Charles Ferguson, Ernest Hurst, and Walter Philbrick, all of Dallas.
