From the notes of Lolita Long Lowry:
Judith, wife of Benjamin Hurt, is said to be the daughter of Abraham and Judith Forrest of Nottoway County, Virginia. Nothing is known about her parents, however, the Court Order Book 1 1735-46 and Deed Book 1 with 1735-1743 deeds and bonds of Amelia County, VA were reviewed. They contained many references to John Forster, Thomas Fostr, Thomas Forster, George Forster, William Forster and also mentioned John Hurt and Abraham Hurt as witnesses. Payment o Soliders & Officers of French Indian Wars recorded in Hennings Statutes v. 7 p 201-2 gives the schedule of payments set up by March 1756 Act of the Assembly and includes in Amelia County William Forster for 5/6s and Thomas Foster who received pat. for land on Stock's Creek, Richard Fauster, John Fauster and Robert Fauster paid 5/6s each and Joel Williams who was paid as a substitute for Josiah Foster. Whether or not these are connected to Judith is not known. Note that Benjamin and Judith named a son Josiah.
Abraham Forrest of Amelia County was grantor for a deed to Walters in Book 6 p 372 of Prince Edward County [1778-1783] with witnesses William Hurt Jr., John Forrest, Obediah Jenkins and John Fleming. Abraham Forrest in Book 10, p 474 gets a deed from Jackson and in Book 11, p 183 there is another transaction for Abraham Forrest.
