"Grandma Hurt, wife of the late Johnston H. Hurt, now sleeps by the side of of her husband in Princeton cemetery. The messenger of death claimed this venerable old lady on Friday, December 9th, and her remains were laid to rest on Saturday. The death of her late husband, J. H. Hurt, occurred August 5th last. Rev. T. J. Enyeart of the M. E. church, conducted the services." The Princeton Telegraph (Princeton, Missouri), December 14, 1898
