Notes for Barbara Jean BROWNING
Barbara Jean Browning Sprouse, 85, of Springfield, passed from this life on Friday February 28, 2020 at North Crest Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday March 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Mike Treen and Joan Powell officiating.

Interment in the Elmwood Cemetery with Jordan Sprouse, Tim Long, David Dorris, Hank Graves, and other family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Sprouse was born October 15, 1934 in Robertson County to the late Jess and Margaret Winters Browning.

She was a graduate of Coopertown High School, a homemaker, and a member of New Chapel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sprouse was an avid UT Vols fan and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Bill, Houston, Buddy, and Jerry Browning.

Mrs. Sprouse is survived by her husband of 59 years: Tommy Sprouse of Springfield, by her daughter: Pam Leftrick-Ramsey of Cedar Hill, by her son and daughter-in-law: Jimmy and Abby Sprouse of Nashville, by her brothers and sister-in-law: Aubrey Browning of Springfield and Wayne and Patricia Browning of Pleasant View, by her grandchildren: Jessie Dorris and husband David, Emily Long and husband Tim, Kayla Graves and husband Hank, Jordan Sprouse and wife Kamey, and by 5 great grandchildren.
