Roger Dale Barnes, of Madison, TN passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009; he was 59. Preceded in death by his father, Jessie W. Barnes, Sr. and mother, Emma Jo Osborn Daniels; brother and sister, Stephen W. Barnes and Mary Ann Barnes. Mr. Barnes is survived by his loving wife, Linda Gayle Barnes; step-mother, Dorothy Barnes of Spencer, TN; brothers, Terry Lee Barnes, and Jessie W. Barnes, Jr. of Shelbyville, TN; sister, Marion Lance of Spencer, TN; brother-in -laws, Mike (Mary) Fentress and Jerry (Sharon) Fentress; sister-in-law, Betty Barnes; beloved pet, Gracie, his baby girl; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Honorary Pallbearers: Members of the Tuesday night PTSD Group. Active pallbearers: Friends and family. The family received friends on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN and where funeral services were conducted on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 1 PM with Pastor, David Jenkins, officiating. The family received friends and family on Friday from 11 until service time. Interment with military honors followed in Spring Hill Cemetery.
