Hurt, Jr. a descendant of Joseph and a possible daughter, Margaret Hurt b. abt 1748, d. 13 Aug 1834, McNamera,TN, md. abt 1763 to William G. Gillentine, b. 1745, VA, d. 1786, Halifax Co., VA. He was the grandson of Nicholaus Gillentine who was requested by her older brothers as guardian following the death of their parents, Amelia Co. Court Order Book 4A, 27 Mar 1755.
