Co., VA.
(4) Jeff Williams: DEAT PLAC Washington County, Virginia Moses White wrote his will 28 Oct 1796. Made his mark in presence of James Duffy , Daniel White & John White Probate began 21 Feb 1797 with will proven 21 Mar 1797. His brother Joseph White and "Trusty Friend & Brother-in-law", John McCullough were executors. This line of Whites' are traced back to Amelia and King & Queen Counties, Va.
(5) Ltr. dtd 8 Apr 1996 from Jack Hockett - Last will and testament of Moses White, written 28 Oct 1796 and probated 21 Feb 1797...my beloved wife Susana the full use of all my estate...all my Children namely, Martha, William, Mary, Spencer, Moses and Joseph or any that may be born to me by my said wife by me begotten in my life time...their equal share...should any of my children die before they shall arrive at age...my loving brother Joseph White and my trusty friend...and brother in law John McCullough, exrs.../w/James Duffy; Daniel White; John White;/s/Moses[his mark] White.

John White, Co. of Anderson, TN & Pats, wife, one and Moses White, WCV, other, $170, their portion & interest in...land Rich Valley...waters of the North Fork of Holston River, land which Moses White died seized & which he willed to wife, Susannah, during her life... WCV DB 6:163:Indenture of 13 Oct 1815 bet. John Epperson & Moses White & Joel West, $500...land on Wallace's Branch, waters of the North Fork of Holston River, 75 acres.
