Notes for Arthur Ralph "Junior" SHRIVER
Arthur R. Shriver, 39, son of Arthur and Ada (Brewer) Shriver, was born Sept. 27, 1929 near Tyrone, MO and died Nov. 19, 1968. He was united in marriage to Rosa Faye Cook April 4, 1948, and to this union three children were born. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Jimmy and Ronald and one daughter, Brenda, all of he home; his parents; and seven brothers, David of East Peoria, IL. ; Lloyd, Roy and John all of Kansas City; Lester, Willow Springs; Charles, with the US Army in Vietnam; and Walter of Mtn. View. Practically all of his life has been in the Tyrone community and for the past two years he and his wife have operated the Tyrone store. He had been active in Boy Scout work, was president of the Tyrone PTA and a member of the Tyrone school board. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 22, at the Nagle Christian Church near Tyrone with Don Brower officiating. Burial was in the Nagle Cemetery under the direction of Elliott- Gentry Funeral Home
