Notes for Ronald Gene MILLER
Ronald Gene Miller was born April 6, 1960 to Jesse and Fern (Brown) Miller. He gained his wings July 23, 2024. As a child and a young man, he attended Faith and Hope Church then later Mt. Pisgah in Cabool.
He attended Cabool Schools and graduated with the class of 1978. While in high school, Ronald played on the football team as a defensive end and long snapper. Ronald was no stranger to hard work. He had hauled hay, done farm work, pumped gas, worked with Tommy Noel for 15 years, Clinton Saw Mill for 8 years and then Smith and Hughes Lumber Company.
On April 17, 2004 Ronald married Melody Gerkey and to this union 2 children were born. A son, Holden and a daughter, Allyssa.
Ronald was a kind, caring, happy and strong man who always helped anyone in anyway he could.
He enjoyed watching football, comedy shows and outdoor shows. He liked cooking, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He was always the fun uncle.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Harold and James; and father-in-law Ray Gerkey.
Ronald will forever be loved and missed.
A family directed Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Miller Cemetery in Cabool, Missouri.
