Leatha Lucial Miller, 89, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on February 1, 2009 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Leatha was born on April 3, 1919 in Elk Creek, Missouri to Gilford and Mary (Aldridge) Brown. She was united in marriage to Robert C. Miller on December 23, 1940. Leatha was a very devoted wife and cherished the time she spent with her children. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Springs and enjoyed attending her Sunday School class. In her spare time, Leatha enjoyed sewing and creating hand-made quilts for her family.
Leatha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert; siblings, Paul Brown, Orville Brown, Pearl Yarnall, Wade Brown, Roy Dean Brown, and Kay Brown.
The family will receive friends from 9-9:30 on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Meyers Funeral Chapel with funeral services at 9:30. Burial will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
