(3) Married to Sandra Kaye RASMUSSEN on 29 Jan 1969. The record was lost and
not recorded. They remarried on 7 Mar 1969. Divorced in fall of 1974 or 1975.
Divorce obtained from NY as that was where Sandra was residing.
(4) Common law wife was Kathy Lee SAVINO from 1982/3 to 1986.
(5) Md. 3) 4 Apr 1987 to Amanda STINER (sp.?) . Separated Aug 1987. Probably
divorced but no knowledge of such action.
(6) Had an alcohol problem. Diagnosed with cirrohsis of the liver in Feb 2001. Had quit drinking in January 2001. Spot on liver found in March 2001. Was apparently not biopsed. Had 6 gallons of fluid drained from abdominal cavity. Became weaker and weaker and lost a great deal of weight. Had seizures on 2 Sep 2001. Tests showed he had four separate lesions in the brain as a result of metastatic cancer which originated from the liver. Ventilator was removed at 6:35 pm and death occurred at about 7:10 pm. Rose and Earl could not be located. Lisa was contacted and agreed to discontinue life support systems as that would be Gary's wish.
(7) Was very artistic and drew extremely well. Used this talent in a tattoo business for awhile. Had musical abilities. Played trumpet for awhile and learned the guitar. Had a high IQ but did not pursue academic learning. Was very mechanical minded and a good handyman. Worked as a roofer for a number of years. Worked on a steel high rise building in Hawaii for awhile. Also tried to run a cab business there.
(8) Had a drug addiction problem which led to the lose of his 1st wife and his oldest daughter. Did kick the hard drug habit, but it had already cost him what he loved most - his family.
(9) Known by his closest friends as someone whom they could depend on and who was loyal.
(10) Gary wished to be cremated and his ashes spread at a certain point in Hawaii.
