Patrick Henry Moyers was born on October 16, 1864 in Tennessee, the son of Patrick Dillard "P D" Moyers (1831-1910) and his wife Martha Jane (Campbell) Moyers (1834-1925).
He was married on August 8, 1886 to Margaret Eleanora "Ella" Lasley (1868-1944), the daughter of William Henry Lasley (1844–1903) and {his 1st wife?} Margaret Anna (Boyd) Lasley (1848–1870).
A blacksmith living at 306 Joyner Avenue, Nashville, he was 54 years old and married when he died at home of a combination of flu and pneumonia on October 10, 1918. Burial was two days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
