Alfred Alexander Moyers was born on June 26, 1852 in Tennessee, the son of Patrick Dillard "P D" Moyers (1831-1910) and his wife Martha Jane (Campbell) Moyers (1834-1925).
He was married to Mary Elizabeth "Eliza" Cunningham (1856-1928), the daughter of J H Cunningham and Emoline (Allen) Cunningham.
A house painter living at 1701 Eastland Avenue, Nashville, he was 85 years old and a widower when he passed away at home on August 5, 1937. Burial was two days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Eliza was married about 1876 to Alfred Alexander Moyers (1852-1937), the son of Patrick Dillard "P D" Moyers and Mary Jane (Campbell) Moyers.
Living at 305 Neil Avenue, Nashville, she was 71 years old and married when she died of myocarditis at home on October 10, 1928. Burial was the next day in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
