Notes for Augustus Edwin SIZEMORE
Augustus "Gus" Sizemore age 76 of Caryville passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Tennova Healthcare Center in Knoxville. Gus was born on August 12, 1936 in East Bernstadt, KY to the late James and Guila Ponder Sizemore. He loved the Lord and took pride in helping others. Gus was a loving father and loved his family. He enjoyed fishing, trucking, farming, building and baking hams. Gus was a jokester and enjoyed making people laugh. He will be dearly missed. In Addition to his parents, Gus is preceded in death by step children, Jimmy and Karen McCart; Brother, Glen Sizemore; Uncle, Ralph Sizemore and special nephew, Ricky Mills.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral home in Lake City on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 for 12:00-2:00PM with the funeral service to follow at 2:00PM with the Rev. Alvis Richardson officiating. Gus's interment will follow at the Queener Cemetery in Caryville. You may also view Gus's guestbook online at www.holleygamblefh.com.
