Obituary: Old Resident Gone
James G. Ryan died yesterday afternoon at about 3 o'clock at 1942 East avenue. He was a farmer and lived near Ebenezer. He was in the city on a visit.
Mr. Ryan was 84 years old, but was vigorous and in good health to within a few days of his death. Flux was the disease that carried him away. He was an old time resident of the section where he lived.
The funeral took place this morning, the burial being in Robberson cemetery, about 12 miles north of the city.

Date on the tombstone is 1900, and the year of this newspaper is 1899. This is also a problem on his wife, Fannie's obit and tombstone.
Also, if he is 84 years old in 1899, that would make his birth 1815.
