Jane was the daughter of Bartlett H Reams and Sarah Driskill. She married Alfred Jefferson Moyers, Sr (1811-1878) on September 29, 1831 in White Pine, Jefferson County, Tennessee. They had 6 sons and 2 daughters: James Bartlett Moyers (1834-1877), David Nelson Moyers (1836-1837), John Tate Moyers (1838-1863) he was injured in a battle near Corinth Mississippi and was buried around Jackson, Mississippi during the Civil War, Thomas Benton Moyers (1841-1856), Richard Calhoun Moyers (1843-?), Alfred Jefferson Moyers, Jr (1846-1903), Mary Jane Moyers Witherspoon (1848-1887) and Sarah Ann Moyers Darr (1851-1873). The family moved to Texas in 1852. Alfred Jefferson Moyers, Sr is buried somewhere in Arkansas.
