2nd. generation Benjamin died in Tuscaloosa Co., Alabama. He took land there about 1812 when Indian territory became available for settlement. There is a Revolutionary War monument to him in Tuscaloosa. I have the names of his children and some grandchildren if you are interested.  I haven't been able to find any remnants of the family here in Alabama. It is possible they died out or moved to Texas.499

“I am bound to them though I cannot look into their eyes or hear their voices. I honor their history. I cherish their lives.
I will tell their story. I will remember them for I am the result of the very love, struggle, sacrifice and journey of thousands.”
