Grace Manders, 78, of Miami died Thursday, Feb. 26 at Integris Regional Medical Center in Miami.
She was born October 12, 1930 in Adair, Oklahoma to John W. and Grace Tuck Johnson.
She married Mack Manders on March 11, 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1997. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Miami, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Ovid, Elwood, Charlie, and Tommy Johnson; and a sister, Rachel Browning.
She is survived by one son, one daughter, one brother, one sister, seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Chapel in Miami with the Rev. Leon Weece officiating. Internment will follow at the G.A.R. Cemetery under the direction of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home of Miami. Family will receive friends and relatives from 4-5 Sunday March 1 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Animal Welfare Society on East Central in Miami.

Mack was preceded in death by his parents, Mack Emile and Ola Mae (Morgan) Manders and sister, Gloria.
At the time of his death, Mack was survived by his wife, Grace, one son, Michael Manders and his wife Gina of Miami; one daughter, Diana and her husband George Dickinson of Kansas, his brother, Edwin, two sisters, Helen and Reubena, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
