Notes for Clayton Leon COOK
Clayton Leon Cook, resident of Owasso, went to be with his Lord on May 24, 2011 at the age of 86, following a prolonged illness. He was born August 2, 1924 in West Tulsa, the son of Fred Lee and Inez Lavina (Hindman) Cook. Clayton was raised and received his education in Tulsa. During World War Two, he worked for the Army Corp of Engineers in Texas. He later started his career with the Frisco-Burlington Northern Railroad, retiring August 1, 1984 after 40 years of service. Clayton was united in marriage to Hazel (McGill) Fry on September 7, 1996 in Owasso. He was a charter member of the Christ's Church of Owasso. Clayton also enjoyed his memberships with the Buzzing Bee's Camping Club, the Frisco Camping Club and the Frisco Railroad Club (NARF). He was also an excellent carpenter and had built homes the family had lived in. Clayton is survived by his wife, Hazel Fry Cook of the home; daughters, Ruth Ellen Switzer of The Colony, TX, Rebecca Lynne Johnson of Edmond, OK and Deborah Jo Miles of Tulsa, OK; sister, Donna Sue Brown of Albuquerque, NM. Nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Clayton was also proud of his 2nd family with Hazel. That family includes Marvin Wayne Fry of Mannford, OK, Gary Michael Fry of Hominy, OK, Ronald Edward Fry of Collinsville and Keith Allen Fry of Cleveland, OK and their wives, 23 grand and great grandchildren. Clayton was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Lena Grace Dickson Cook, his parents, two sisters, two brothers and two grandsons. Visitation will be at Mowery Funeral Service on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be no viewing at the funeral service to be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Christ's Church of Owasso, 13807 East 96th Street North, Owasso, Oklahoma, officiating will be the Reverend Ed Dugan. Burial will follow at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Mowery Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

Notes for Lena Grace (Spouse 1)
Lena Graces parents, Bob Lee and Lilly Lynch Dickson and six of her siblings passed before her death. Since her death the remaining three siblings, Ruth, Murrell and Lois have also gone to be with Jesus. Lena graduated from Central High School in 1938. She also attended Southwestern Bible College in Enid. She is survived by her three daughters Ruth Ellen, Rebecca Lynn and Debra Jo as well as her spouse Clayton. Lena was a woman of grace, even through difficult times, and a woman of faith. There is no doubt that she is walking with her Lord. She was loved and is remembered by her family and many friends.
