son of Seab A. Sr. and Estelle Still Tuck.
Early in his life he moved to the nearby town of Pembroke where his father was the town doctor. He attended Roanoke College before enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was trained as a P-38 pilot in reconnaissance; however, the war ended before he was stationed overseas. He returned to Roanoke College and became a pharmaceutical salesman with National Drug Company upon graduation. The company became Merrill-Dav, and he retired after 44 years as a division sales manager.
Seab was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, the Shriners, and the Lions Club.
