Cecil was an army veteran of WW11 and served in Central Europe in the 48th Armored Medical Division. A member of First Baptist Church in Duncanville, he retired from Simmons Beauty Rest Company. Peceded in death by his parents, along with Brother, Hershel Blasingame and step sister Lela Holland & Yvette Whitten. Survivors his wife of 64 years.

Geraldine Kate Blasingame, 95, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015.

Geraldine was born Sept. 24, 1919, in Bogata to Johnnie Street and Charles Tuck of Red River County. She attended rural county schools in Red River County and later graduated from Commerce High School and East Texas State Teachers College. She was a proud member of First Baptist Church. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband in 2005, Cecil Blasingame; daughter, Wanda Alois; parents; two sisters, Alma Tuck Gray and Nanie Bell Ham; and her brothers, Delma, Herbert and Leon Tuck. Survivors: Sons, Donald Wayne Blasingame and wife, Joan, and Cecil Blasingame and wife, Jean; grandchildren, Stephanie Loeber and husband, Fred, Amy Hester and husband, Michael, Katie Blasingame and Kelli Blasingame; great-grandchildren, Simon Loeber, Sophie Loeber and Savannah Hester; and sister, Martha Smith.
