Notes for Grace “Ola” KENNY
Grace "Ola" Pamperien, 89, of Nampa, Idaho, entered into rest peacefully and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at home of natural causes. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, Idaho. Pastor Roy Faletti of Stonehouse Evangelical Church of Meridian, Idaho, will officiate. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Building of Reverence II, Caldwell, Idaho.
Ola was born on March 8, 1912, at Medicine Lodge, Kan., to William A. and Almeta Lawry Kinney. She was raised and educated in Kansas. She moved to Adrian, Ore. in 1950 where they farmed. She had two brothers, Glenn Kinney and Gilford Kinney, and two sisters, Norma Adams and Alpha Bell.
She married Harold E. Pamperien in Medicine Lodge, Kan., on Nov. 8, 1968, where they farmed until 1970 and moved to Vale, Ore. They later moved to Caldwell and Nampa, Idaho area and remained there until she passed away.
Ola was a homemaker and loved cooking, her garden and was famous for making her pies, which we all enjoyed on holidays. She was a member of the Stonehouse Evangelical Church in Meridian, Idaho. She loved serving the Lord and singing the gospel. We know she will be singing the gospel with Harold (DAD) in Heaven.
Ola is survived by her two step-daughters, Bonnie (Larry) Stuart, of Ontario, Ore., and Connie (Walt) Campbell, of Caldwell, Idaho; five grandchildren, Cynthia Cable, Deborah Easly and Rocky Gripton, Travis and Zak Campbell; nephew, J.W. Lytle, of Pratt, Kan.; six great-grandchildren, Dustin and Stephanine Simpson, Ashlee Gripton, Dax and Natalie Campbell and Gunner Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers and sisters.
Special thanks to Bob and Idella Young of Nampa, who were her caregivers for the last 2 ½ years.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Stonehouse Evangelical Church, 1450 N. Ten Mile, Meridian, Idaho 83642.
