MRS. ETHEL CROSSWHITE JENNINGS
Mrs. Ethel Crosswhite Jennings, 69, of Weaubleau, died Monday morning at the state hospital in Nevada. She was the widow of Ollie Crosswhite, a Greene County deputy sheriff killed in the Young Massacre west of Springfield Jan. 2, 1932. Six local officers were killed by two brothers.
Survivors are her husband, Earl; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Libbey, Albuquerque, and Mrs. William Jersak, Springfield; four sons, Joe, Columbus, Ohio, Carl, Oakland, Calif., Keith, Springfield, and Lee, Route 4.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Klingner Chapel. Burial will be in Brighton Cemetery
