Frances Saldana passed away Monday, March 19, 2012. She was born on Jan. 19, 1922. She is survived by daughters, Helen (Charles) Gallegos, Angelina Sanchez, Arlene Apodaca; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Helen Margurite; husband, Monico Saldana; daughter, Mary Lowe; numerous siblings; and grandsons, Timothy and Rob Sanchez. Frances was faithful to God and family, loved the Denver Broncos and going to Cripple Creek. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will remain in the hearts of those who loved her. The family will hold a private service.

DEATH: April 9, 1999.

PRECEDED in death by daughter Maria Lowe in 1994, mother Bacilia Saldana in 1988, and father Anastacio Saldana in 1972.

BIRTH: May 4, 1914, Jalisco, Mexico.

RETIRED: CF&I, wire mill.
FUNERAL MASS: Sacred Heart Cathedral, 11th and Grand, with the Rev. Father Anthony Wojcinski as celebrant.

AMONG SURVIVORS: Survived by his wife, Frances Saldana, of the family home; daughters, Helen (Charles) Gallegos and Angelina Sanchez, both of Pueblo, Colorado, and Arlene (Edward) Apodaca of Aurora, Colorado; sisters, Mary Garcia and Beatrice Arellano; brother, Henry Saldana, all of Pueblo, Colorado. Affectionately known and will be remembered by his 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren as "Dadu." Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

CREMATION: Montgomery & Steward Crematorium.

INTERMENT: Roselawn Cemetery.
