Helen M. Trabucco
Helen M. Trabucco, 82, formerly of Florence, died Nov. 2, 1998, in Phoenix, Ariz. She was born Jan. 8, 1916 in Canon City, to James Thomas and Florence M. (Chilvers) McDowell.
Mrs. Trabucco owned and operated Helen’s Kitchen in Florence. She worked as a cook at the Capri Restaurant and several other restaurants in the area. Meris Trabucoo loved cooking, fishing and the Denver Bronco’s.
She especially loved to go dancing and do the jitterbug.
Mrs. Trabucco was Catholic by faith. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved cooking family meals that were usually large enough to feed an entire neighbornood.
She is survived by children: Nina Billinger, Joann Graham, Harley McDowell; grandchildren: Debbie, Pamela, Jeffrey, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Angela, Martin, Michelle, Renee; great-grandchildren Johnathan, Melony, Ian, Emily, Haile, Luke; and great-great-grandchildren Sum-mer and Elijah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Trabucco.
Visitation will be held from noon to 12:45 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at Union Highland Cemetery in Florence with Father Michael Murray, OSB, officiating.
Services are under the direction of Charles Anthony Funeral Home in Florence.
