Notes for Imogene Ellen (Spouse 1)
Records Conflict as to Imogene's middle name. It is either Ellen or Evelyn. This photograph was taken by one of her elder sisters. On the back is written: "Imogene's grave, block 31, lot 50, Roselawn Cemetery, Pueblo, Colo. Aug 1966". The dates on the marker say 1929 - 1961 however census records show her dob of 1925. The youngest in the Knight family, she was living with sisters in Wichita, Kansas when she married and moved to Pueblo, Colorado. After an extended illness she died of leukemia in 1961. All her brothers and sisters attended the funeral.

Fort Smith Arkansas July 1961 newspaper obituary:

Mrs. Phil Gomey
Funeral service and burial for Mrs. Phil Gomey, 33, of Pueblo, Colo., will be held there at 2 p.m. Monday under the direction of the McCarthy Funeral home.
Mrs. Gomey died Friday at Pueblo. She was a native of Van Buren and had resided in Fort Smith.
Other survivors include her husband of the home; her father, Sam Knight of Fort Smith; two brothers, Arthur Knight of Fort Smith and Russell of Tulsa; six sisters, Mrs. Ted Ball and Mrs. Opal His of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Tessie Collier of Fayetteville, N. Car., Mrs. Golda ruffin of Bastrop, La., Mrs Arch May of Booneville and Miss Queen Knight of Pueblo.
