Notes for Philo P. TUCK
Philo Tuck was the eldest of 10 children born to Joseph Tuck and Elizabeth (married on Jan 13 1825 in Blounr Co, TN). He was reared in Polk Co, MO where most of his family remained after Philo moved to CA in 1854. He and his wife, Louisa Hackney had only one child, Charles Victor, born Sep 22, 1865. He bought a farm in Little Lake near Willits, CA in Mendocino Co, CA where he remained until his death. His large tombstone is surrounded by markers for his son, daughter-in-law, grandson's wife, great grandson.
