John Shock Shely Procurement Payment
John Shock Shely Procurement Payment on Ancestry from coolmidnightrider with the following note: “Sheley Exhibits book, Greene Room, Greene County Public Library
It is reasonable to remember that the wheat was furnished to the State of Virginia well before the payment was authorized. This leads one to believe that John Sheely Sr. was the one providing the wheat and not his son who was serving in the Virginia line at the time. My brother David copied this document while viewing the Sheley Exhibit in the Greene County Public Library.”

I will tell their story. I will remember them for I am the result of the very love, struggle, sacrifice and journey of thousands.”
