Clyde Wayne Abel, Sr., 80, passed away July 26, 2019 at his home in Corona, CA.

He was born February 16, 1939 in Trinidad, CO to Guy Clarence and Jean Mae Clow Abel. He was a member of the United States Army, Knights of Columbus, American Legion and St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Fort Bridger, WY and he worked for Greyhound driving a bus. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Karen Rose Abel; a son, Daniel Christopher Abel and a brother, Robert Allen Abel.

Clyde is survived by a son, Clyde Wayne Abel, Jr. of Milford, TX; a brother, Guy (Peggy) Abel of Strafford, MO and a sister, Betty Smith of Corona, CA.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 8, 2019 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Fort Bridger, Wyoming with a viewing starting at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Fort Bridger Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the Bridger Valley Senior Center.
