Susannah Tuck was born in Halifax County, Virginia about 1809. She married her cousin, John Tuck, the son of Ezra Tuck and Sarah Crittenden Tuck (who lived in Spartanburg, South Carolina). Susannah and John raised nine children in South Carolina. John Tuck died at the age of 80 in 1881 and Susannah died in 1895 at 86.
